Topics covered will be:
★Bamboo Wand Qigong: These Qigong practices are done with Bamboo wands, (sticks) for energizing and healing the mind, and body. Bamboo Qigong breathing and stretching exercises are done to promote spinal flexibiity and healthy circulation.
★Buddhist Temple Qigong: Seven Chakras Qigong and Yoga postures for balancing the Seven Chakras. Standing and walking meditations for promoting wellness and longevity.
★Lotus Mudra Qi Yoga Qigong and Yoga Mudras for deep breathing, stretching and balance. Qi Yoga Movements and Meditations for energizing and healing the mind and body.
★Qi Healing Sounds and Qigong Therapy: Qi Yoga Healing sounds for circulating healthy energy through the meridians. Qi Yoga tapping and massages for healing the glands, organs and for general health and well being.
Bamboo Qigong practices are internal energy exercises and meditations from Tibet, India and China. This workshop will cover the basic practices of Bamboo Qigong using bamboo sticks and postures to open the meridians, nadis and energy points. This allows Qi energy to flow to all parts of the body, promoting overall health, vitality and longevity. Qigong exercises are done along with meditative and inspiring oriental music.
Please note: Bamboo wands, (sticks) will be available for students to use at the seminar. Also students should bring their own lunch. Tea and snacks will be available.

Dr. Robin Murphy is a naturopathic physician who has been teaching and practicing Homeopathy, Oriental Medicine, Tai Chi and Qigong (Chi Kung) for over 30 years. He is an internationally recognized author and researcher on Homeopathy and Medical Qigong.
Many years ago, Dr. Murphy learned a rare Buddhist Qigong system from the grandmaster Liu Siong. Liu Siong learned it from the Buddhist monks of the Shaolin monastery in China. The legendary monks revealed to Liu Siong the Qi movements and Qi meditations taught centuries ago by Tibetan lamas. Also, many of the Qigong movements and meditations originated from the Tai Chi school of Qigong and martial arts.
He has written the MetaRepertory, 4th edition, Nature's Materia Medica, 3rd edition. Also, two new books: Superfood Wellness Guide and Herbal Wellness Guide. He presently is the director of the Lotus Health Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia.
